Our Story
Bedaw Farms is our family-owned 40-acre working farm in Awendaw, South Carolina. We purchased the farm in 2001 and have spent more than two decades caring for the land. After years of welcoming friends and family to the farm, we realized this special place could become the setting for life's most meaningful celebrations for others. More than a venue, Bedaw Farms is a place where people reconnect—with nature and with one another. Set among open fields, woodlands, historic farm structures, a modern farmhouse, and a working goat farm, our private Lowcountry retreat offers an authentic and relaxed setting for weddings, celebrations, retreats, and meaningful gatherings of all kinds. Bedaw Farms is home to The Back Barn, our rustic-chic wedding and event venue; The Farmhouse, our private vacation rental; and Bedaw Goat Farm, our working goat dairy.
The Back Barn
The Back Barn, overlooking scenic open pasture, is our charming wedding and event venue. It accommodates up to 175 people and offers
on-site parking. It is the perfect venue for any event or celebration you want to be memorable.
The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse allows couples and families to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the farm beyond a single afternoon. The house features luxury amenities and an outdoor oasis, with pool, hot tub, and fire pit, it is perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Available as a private rental or a combined event-and-accommodation booking with The Back Barn.
The Goat Farm
Bedaw Goat Farm is a small family farm specializing in raising dairy goats. Locals can purchase Grade A goat milk from our herd. Book a tour and experience farm life and hands-on activities for adults and children. We also offer photoshoot opportunities.
